Kangol
Returning to life after the first world war, Jacques Spreiregen entered the headwear business as an importer of Basque berets. Becoming KANGOL in 1938, the brand became known for its must-have berets, which were redesigned in the early ‘50s to incorporate a peak – one of the first, now famous Kangol caps. Since then, Kangol’s headwear has been at the heart of pop-culture, from partnerships with The Beatles throughout the swinging sixties, to infiltrating the ‘80s US Hip-Hop scene, the brand has always found a way to adapt to the ever-changing fashion climate.
